Cool, mine doesn't seem to crash now. One thing, could change the reticule. Either make it static to the center for the screen or take it out by default. It seems as though that is where the bullets fly to but it's not. I can see past it, but I think a lot of people new to this won't.

hey, thanks for the new version! everything seems great so far...

the most glaring bug that i still notice still in the game is the hall of mirrors effect (for example, in the level 'tricks and traps').

the most important missing feature i would request would be quick weapon switching. it might be too hard to program, but man would it be nice to have some kind of overlay with the IR pointer, for example hold the Minus Button and point on the screen to quickly select a weapon. or gesture recognition while holding a button on the Nunchuk? i'm getting further into the game and it is really pushing me to the limit sometimes... while dodging bullets and projectiles and frantically trying to switch from the plasma rifle around to the shotgun or something!!

one other tiny thing... i think the reticule is fun... although i hated it for the first five minutes! it's kind of nice and helps me save ammo. purists might want a toggle to have it on or off, though, since it's not in the original game...

anyway, thanks for this great port of an old nostalgic favorite. it really brings the game back to life to play with new controls. i'll keep playing and report back on anything i may find... thanks!

Like vin, I too see that even with the cross-hair, your bullets still shoot at the center of the screen...

Your bullets always got to the center of the screen. That's how doom works. The crosshair is not for targeting.

I think it needs to be made optional.

yeah i like having the option of cool extra features, but i too feel that anything not strictly reproducing the original experience should be a selectable option.

i finished doom 2 on the new version yesterday and it was really a lot of fun. there are a couple minor things i noticed here and there, but i'm going to make sure and compare with the pc version before i submit any new issues.

keep up the awesome work!
